Student-centred Sessions

Each lesson is tailor-made and student-centred. I offer a trial session before starting each course to understand what potential students need in terms of language skills and abilities.

1:1 or Small Groups Lessons

I offer either one-to-one programmes for students who wish to learn with a teacher privately, or small groups sessions (2-3 students) who like to learn by cooperating with others.

Programmes for Different Levels

Whether you want to learn from scratch or you have some knowledge of the language, my lessons will always adapt to your language level.

Online Sessions

My sessions are held entirely online through Skype or Zoom.
What you will need is just a computer, an Internet connection, and some headphones.

Flexible Schedule

Together we will find the best time for you to schedule our lesson. My sessions are normally 60 minutes long, but we can also agree on shorter or longer ones.

Friendly Atmosphere

You will find a safe and friendly environment where you will feel free of experimenting with the language.

Am I too old to learn a language?

No scientific evidence confirms that adults or elderly people cannot learn a new language. Conversely, research demonstrates that the knowledge of the mother tongue can help in the learning process. Just follow one simple rule: ‘Be patient, practice makes perfect!’

How long are the courses?

The duration of each course depends on the package you intend to purchase. The available lesson packages are of 6, 10 or 14 60-minute sessions. However, if you would like to book more or less hours, you can contact your tutor and agree on a different number of lessons.

How do payments work?

It is possible to pay by credit card or bank transfer. Accepted credit cards are Mastercard, Visa, or Maestro and if you purchase a package from the website, you will be directed to a safe website for the payment. Please, contact the tutor if you prefer to do a bank transfer, so that she will send you the data you require.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you cannot attend one or more lessons, you are required to contact your tutor as soon as possible. She will do her best to reschedule the lesson/the sessions for a suitable time for you. However, if you want to withdraw from the lesson/the remaining sessions, it is not possible to request a refund.

Are there any requirements to participate in the lessons?

The lessons are online with Zoom or Skype. It is not necessary that you install any software on your computer, because you can use both of them via browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox or Safari). Before each lesson, you will receive a link via email to join the meeting.

What kind of equipment do I need for the lessons?

You will basically need the following equipment:  a reliable laptop, a desktop computer or a tablet, a strong Internet connection, a headset or some earphones, and an external webcam if you do not have one already integrated into your computer.

Not sure if it is for you?

Let's meet for a short free trial lesson where you can talk about your needs and get a taste of what my lessons look like.
